Hi folks,
This webcast seems interesting. Check it if you want to understand more about apps, to learn about the proven practices of architecting and developing apps and migrating SharePoint solutions to apps. These are the words from the SharePoint Developer Team.
Here it is the link: Webcast
The SharePoint Development Team is taking pretty serious when they say: "As a SharePoint developer, you should make http://www.reimaginespdev.com your first stop when planning and developing your next app or migrating your existing SharePoint solution."
I want to check this session, so if you are a developer, I invite you to do the same.
Cheers,
Marcel

The most important event of the year took place a couple of weeks ago.
As usual the organisation of the event put lots of efforts to bring good content to the event.
Differently from last year where the organisation brought International speakers to the SharePoint track, it seems that this year the focus was not necessarily the Office, Office 365 & SharePoint track. Other tracks like Windows Azure and Windows 8 had more investment.
I believe because of the recent release of SharePoint 2013, few speakers were available to talk about SharePoint 2013. All session levels that I attended on this track were 200.
Apart from that, the event was really good for networking and checking other technologies that are not of your specialty.
If you missed it, you can check the sessions on Channel9: http://channel9.msdn.com/Events/TechEd/NewZealand/TechEd-New-Zealand-2012
Let's see next year!

Hi folks,
There's been a time I am willing to upgrade my blog. This weekend I took the initiative to do it, and did the upgrade of blogengine 1.6 to 2.6
Main differences from the previous version are in the administration web site, that gives you more power to manage the content published.
Everything seems to be working properly, just noticed that some old posts are being displayed as new ones in my RSS Reader.
If you want to know more about this tool, have a look at the site: http://www.dotnetblogengine.net
Cheers,
Marcel Medina
